One universal truth is the desire for health and happiness. It is the seed from which all else grows, and it is why we commit ourselves so deeply to what we do. The Village at Rockville—A National Lutheran Community, offers a continuum of care based on a culture of kindness, hospitality, and respect. It is a legacy of compassion, where a staff professional is also a trusted friend, working collaboratively to provide personalized care and opportunities for growth and enrichment. It is a community where neighbors support each other—where the quality of care is elevated because of the people who care. It is a place where one can feel rooted, loved, and happy.

The Village at Rockville is a neighborhood community of shaded trees, walking paths, and gardens, beautifully situated on 30 scenic acres in Rockville, Maryland. We’re very excited to announce our new west campus expansion, the focal point of which is the brilliantly designed Glenmere—a building featuring lovely independent living apartment homes. Glenmere represents the most significant project to date at The Village at Rockville.

Glenmere is the heart of community activity, comprising 130 one- and two-bedroom, maintenance-free independent living apartments, guest suites, an aquatic center with spa and lap pool, and an enclosed pedestrian link to the Health Center. Plus, it features a full range of state-of-the-art facilities and activity spaces, including a theater, a game room, and a variety of dining choices. From stylish one-bedrooms to spacious two-bedrooms plus den, Glenmere residents can choose from a variety of contemporary floor plans and a range of customized renovation options. Glenmere living offers residents the luxury of enjoying the best of the community and health care services just beyond their door with the added convenience of secure under-building parking.

The Glenmere apartments are pending approval by the Maryland Department of Aging.
